Sea Olympics and Port Chennai India

Hi all,
We arrived early this morning in Chennai India which is in the south. It appears to be a big and busy port. We are waiting for the ship to clear immigration. Traci is also been busy as she can get. We are in need of a little break . We are heading to Mammelllapiuraum in two days which is where we will post up at a beach resort for two nights and three days.
We had cake w/ the TuTu's yesterday (pictures) We also had the sea Olympics which include hula hoop (Anna) Limbo (Layne and Dec) Tug -o-War (Capt ron) Jeopardy (Traci) We were team No Mer-sea . We all did well but only Mama Traci ' s team won their event.
Times are good , All we know about India is to watch your wallet, don't drink water at all, watch what you eat and good luck w/ transportation. Should be interesting.
We will keep you posted

  2. Hi Elizabeth,
How are you doing? How is the new school looking? I'm having a great time with all the college students. I did Hula hop in the sea oylmpics . It was crazy loud in the union , all the cheering ,I thought my ear's were going to fall off. How is school going for you?

I miss you so much , but I'll see you pretty soon. We will be in Vietnam soon. We are going on a houseboat on the Mekong Delta
    Your best friend Anna

  3. Hi Everyone - the pictures are great! It sounds like the games were a lot of fun - not surprised Traci's team won Jeopardy (she's so smart). Not much happening around here. Trying to get used the weather and our new home. We feel the cold more now since we don't have neighbors above, below or on either side of us anymore to keep us warm - meaning our heating bill is going to be a lot higher!!! Tomorrow (Friday) is supposed to be quite chilly. So keep enjoying the warm weather. Have a great time in Port. Love, Lisa Pizza

  6. How come my comments never make it! I'll try again, but I did write letters to the girls today. We're in FL...not missing the cold up north, which I don't mind if the sun is shining. I love reading the blogs and seeing your pictures. Miss you all. You look very happy, tho and enjoying this wonderful adventure.

  7. Hi Aunt Patty,
Nice to ehar from you! Your comment made it on. Just do whatever you did. The girls love reading the comments. We have been riding around in Rickshaws it is CRAZY! Actually hard to describe the chaos in India. A very different culture and an impossible language to even get a hint of what is being said. No where near as much English as other countries we have visited. No complaints I have found it kind of enjoyable it crazy and rather inexpensive. We took two tudors to dinner last night , so 4 adults 3 kids , dinner and drinks $20 US

Hope all is well , Love Johnnie

ps Catherine and Garretts boy Jack played Mini One on One during the Bruins game last night. Garrett was the on ice coach. I hear they had a great time!
