Rough Seas

It has been a trying past few days with a tragic death among our community. One of our students died on the ship on our last day in Vietnam. We had a moving memorial at sea for him yesterday. He is not someone that any of our family knew, but it has nonetheless touched us all. At this time, we are unable to disclose any further details out of respect for his family. Please keep the young man's family in your thoughts and prayers. We are all doing well and looking forward to our next travels in Hong Kong and China...! Traci

  1. Hi Traci and John,
We have been loving the recent posts ... makes me miss Asia. HOWEVER ... I think you deserve gold stars for bravery for swimming in the river. Glad that you only caught a cold. : )
We are so sorry to hear about the tragedy on your boat. Got word over the weekend from Bubi and Bumper. Can't imagine how it is affecting the community.
I had a funny dream last night that you all were home for Thanksgiving, as the Cape got added to your itinerary. Ha!
We are thinking of you all.
    With love,
    Karen

  2. Hi Everyone, So sorry to hear of the students death. I can only imagine how all of you felt and all of the questions the kids had. The memorial must have helped, though. I'm glad you have Hong Kong and China to look forward to. Take Care, Lisa Pizza.
